Announcements
  1. With effect from 1st December 2011, the Chinatown Business Association (CBA) office number will be changed to 6221 5115.
  2. The CBA Office will be closed on the 24th & 31st December 2011. CBA would like to wish everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
  3. All streets in Chinatown, such as Pagoda street, Temple street, Trengganu street, Smith street and Sago street will be lit up with LED lighting starting from 15th December.

Thian Hock Keng Temple 

The Thian Hock Keng Temple had its beginnings as a joss house sometime between 1821 and 1822. The joss house was built by early Chinese immigrants to thank the Goddess Ma Chu Po (Goddess of the sea) for their safe journey across the South China Sea.

Anaki rocks Chinatown is a celebration of music - a breezy outdoor affair showcasing what the coolest bands in Singapore have to offer. Watch 16 bands come together over 2 days to entertain the crowd with their skills and sound ranging from rock, punk and metal to alternative, funk, soul and R&B. With the stage set under the stars at Sago Street against the beautiful backdrop of eclectic Chinatown, this is one outdoor concert not to be missed.

Flea By the Garden @ Chinatown Garden Bridge
19th – 20th & 26th – 27th November 2011 

Once again we had our flea at our garden bridge, with many young entrepreneurs setting up their own stalls selling fashion clothing, crafts and stuffed toys.
