Lion Dance Performance temporarily shifts to Trengganu Street
Our Lion Dance Performance has been temporarily shifted to Trengganu Street (Junction of Trengganu Street and Smith Street). Performance time remains unchanged at 6.45pm, so be sure to support our Lions every Saturday!

October Event Highlights
Fire Walking Festival 2014

The Annual Fire Walking Ceremony 2014 is organized by Sri Mariamman Temple which is administered by the Hindu Endowments Board, will be held on Sunday, 12 October 2014 from 6pm to 7am the following day, 13 October 2014.  Approximately 4000 devotees are expected to fulfil their religious vows by walking across a 4-metre Fire pit at Sri Mariamman Temple at No. 244 South Bridge Road.

The foot procession will commence from Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple and will proceed along Serangoon Road and conclude at Sri Mariamman Temple. Road closure details will be coming up very soon!

Annual General Meeting

Held at Kreta Ayer Community Centre on the 29th September at 2.30pm, CBA's Annual General Meeting (AGM) was a great success! We would like to thank all members who took the effort to attend the meeting this year, and we look forward to your continued support. More pictures and announcements will be up in next month's E-Newsletter, so do keep an eye out!
Before the commencement of our AGM, we recall some of the events in the past year through a slideshow. The one on the screen is our current Identity Marker on Pagoda Street!

Our members listened attentively to the panel speakers.
