Mid-Autumn 2015 - Back to the 60s


Chinatown Business Association is celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival 2015 with a theme of "Back to the 60s" along Pagoda Street. A normal street market by day but when night falls, Pagoda Street will be transformed back to 1960s with a street carnival and fancy dress contest.

Date: 26 September 2015, Saturday
Time: 7pm - 10pm
Venue: Pagoda Street

On that day, look out for our roving 1960s characters as they will be giving out lollipops. Our emcee CKay Lim will be entertaining us with his various talents.

If we spot you wearing attire or costume from the 1960s era, you will receive a limited edition lantern so gather your friends and families to dress up to that era!

A Golden Jubilee Mid-Autumn
Apart from our own mid-autumn festival celebration, Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng Citizens’ Consultative Committee (KA-KS CCC) will usher in the celebratory ambience of Mid-Autumn Festival with exciting events and activities into Chinatown during the festive period from Tuesday, 01 Sep 2015 to Monday, 12 Oct 2015.

CBA 7th Month Festival 2015

Chinatown Business Association celebrated the 7th Month Festival on the 26th August 2015, beginning with a prayer ceremony at Chinatown Food Street.

Later in the evening, Dinner & Auction was held at Yan Palace Restaurant with all the invited guests, our 7th month members and the Kreta-Ayer Senior Activity Citizens. Mr. Phua Bah Lee offered us the honour of gracing our the dinner ceremony, and Dr. Lily Neo also made a special appearance despite her busy schedule.

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves during the Dinner & Auction, and we look forward to bringing more joy and entertainment in the years to come!
