Reopening of Banda Street Carpark
- The coach lots at Spring Street carpark via South Bridge Road has re-opened on 29 October 2015, Thursday.
- Tour Coaches/Combis will have a special access into Spring Street Car Park via Banda Street (Orange Lane).
- The access is only available daily from 8am to 7pm until November 2015, and will be fully open to public after the various road works are completed.
- The temporary coach lots along Mosque Street and Peck Seah Street will be removed gradually in November 2015. Car park lots will be reinstated.

Fogging Session
To ensure the safety and hygiene of Chinatown’s stakeholders, Chinatown Business Association initiated a fogging exercise on 12th Oct 2015, Monday. The streets fogged are as follow:
- Pagoda Street
- Trengganu Street
- Smith Street
- Sago Street

KoolCard
KoolCard was officially launched by Smartpay for the benefits of China tourists visiting Singapore as well as to build up Chinatown branding in overseas and promote Chinatown Heritage. Chinatown Business Association would like to give priority to our tenants in participating with Smartpay on some discounts and promotions. The benefits of KoolCard includes:
- Smartpay targets China tourists, and have distributed close to 2000 cards in 2 weeks
- Participating outlets will get an individual write-up on wechat & weibo with around 25,000 followers
- Simple mechanics – only need to flash the Smartpay card to enjoy discounts/promotions
- No restrictions on minimum discounts offered
