Annual General Meeting 2016
Chinatown Business Association held its 17th Annual General Meeting on the 26th September 2016 at the Fatty Weng restaurant.

Fogging Session
Due to the recent outbreak of the Zika virus in Singapore, to ensure the safety and hygiene of the people within the vicinity of Chinatown and Chinatown’s stakeholders, Chinatown Business Association initiated a fogging exercise on 24th September 2016, Saturday. The streets fogged are as follow:

Festivals@Chinatown – Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2016
For Mid Autumn, Chinatown Business Association held her inaugural People’s Choice Moon Cake Tasting event at Kreta Ayer Square on 4th September. It was a first for Chinatown to host such an event and the response was great. Approximately 500 members of the public tasted and evaluated the moon cakes offered by the various participating hotels and retail groups.
Chinatown Business Association also held the annual Fancy Dress Contest on 10th September 2016 at Kreta Ayer Square, Chinatown. This year, the theme was "One Moonlit Night in Old Shanghai". Contest participants were all very enthusiastic and many came dressed in styles/costumes relevant to the theme. Many walked away with attractive prizes.
We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves that night and we would like to thank members who dedicated their time to join us.
