CBA Spring Gathering Dinner 2018

Chinatown Business Association welcomes the year of the Dog with our Spring Gathering Celebration Dinner for all members, stakeholders and business partners on 28th February 2018 (Wednesday), 6.30pm - 10.30pm at Yan Palace Restaurant. The evening will commence with a banquet dinner, games, special performances and lucky draw.

CNY Arts and Crafts Workshop

In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year 2018, Chinatown Business Association has put in place a CNY workshop event for tourist and locals to experience and soak in Chinese customs such as red packet lantern making, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese Knot making, Bracelet Customization, Greeting Card Stamping, James Koh Silk Painting and Sew Your Own CNY Fabric Trays. All these workshops are offered by our very own Chinatown Street Market tenants who have many years of experience.

A Look into Chinatown Heritage through Yip Cheong Fun's eyes

Chinatown Visitor Centre is honored to host a photography exhibition for Mr. Yip Cheong Fun, an outstanding photographer who loves to capture the landscape of Chinatown trough his camera lens. Join us where he showcase his photography works and listen to his Chinatown's stories.

WeChat Pay Solution

Since early 2017, Chinatown Visitor Centre has been offering WeChat Pay as a payment mode for China tourists. WeChat pay is a cashless payment solution seamlessly integrated within the social and messaging application of Tencent.

We understand that WeChat is very popular among China tourists. Should you be interested to offer WeChat Pay as one of your payment modes, Chinatown Business Association will look into working with Official Singapore Vendor to obtain a package offer for all tenants.

Past Event

Singapore Dragon and Lion Dance Festival 2018

On New Year's day, Chinatown welcomed a total of 78 local Lion Dance troops for Singapore Dragon and Lion Dance Festival 2018. Beside showcasing the various types of lion dance performance, a Singapore book of record of most cymbals (with 190 cymbals) played in a lion dance performance was broken during this event.

Chinatown Heritage Playstreet

Join us on this fun filled event where Pagoda Street converts into a giant playground. Play Streets program not only help our kids develop more active habits, they also bring communities together in a safe, fun space. The Chinatown Heritage Playstreet takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
