Tea Appreciation at Chinatown Visitor Centre
Chinese tea is an important part of Chinese tradition and being the home to Chinese culture, Chinatown Business Association would like to promote this unique tradition especially to tourists visiting Chinatown. By having our stakeholders in Chinatown to showcase their expertise and products, we believe that it will bring tourists an authentic Chinese tea experience.

Road Closures around Chinatown Vicinity
Due to Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2017 race route, some road/lanes will be closed on 3 December 2017.

7th Month Festival 2017
Chinatown Business Association will be organizing the annual 7th month festival event on 6th September 2017 at Chinatown. There will be prayer ceremony starting 11am onwards along Chinatown and Getai performance from 7.30pm-10pm at Kreta Ayer Square.

4 burnings bins will be allocated on the streets of Chinatown from 22nd August to 19th September for the public to burn their paper offerings. Please be reminded that burning of joss papers on walkways, drain gratings, or any common areas (i.e. on the streets) are prohibited.

Festivals@Chinatown - Dragon Boat Festival Rice Dumpling Tasting Event 2017
Chinatown Business Association celebrated Dragon Boat Festival on the 6th May 2017 at Kreta Ayer Square, with a rice dumpling tasting event. As part of the celebration, we planned a few exciting activities and performances for the event.

Opened to the public with free admission, our main highlight of the event was the food tasting segment where participants get to sample the rice dumplings offered by different merchants. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves that evening!
