鍾潔嵐 - 牛車水 MV
《新加坡》這一個花園城市,很迷人 - 市容清潔、到處花草、生活安定、經濟穩定,還很進取,真有點像現寫世界裡的世外桃源似的,美得像神話,教人神往。

home remedies
Why can't every weekend project turn out like this: Pick out stuff you can't ever buy in Singapore; get the distribution rights... do a little side business selling them from home; find yourself the proud owner of a store stocked with gorgeous furniture four years later because you 'suffered a mid-career crisis'.

a chinese town in singapore
I find it remarkable that the largest and oldest Hindu temple (Sri Mariamman Temple), Mosque, and Chinese temples are located near each other. It says a lot about the people here in Singapore, despite differences of religious beliefs they managed to live harmoniously and peacefully side by side.

chinatown woos youth via facebook
Chinatown is no longer a place that young people flock to for Chinese New Year festive goodies. Now, more of them are being drawn to make regular visits, lured by the new, hip businesses like spas and boutique hotels, and updates of activities on new media - including a website, Facebook group and Twitter account.

where else can you expect cubans?
Today I put Singapore's claim to being a "multicultural city" to the test. In a couple hours, within the span of one block in Chinatown I ate some Japanese Yakitori, drank a beer from Thailand, ate Chinese food, drank an irish coffee and smoked a cuban cigar... not bad.
