Since early 2017, Chinatown Visitor Centre has been offering WeChat Pay as a payment mode for China tourists. WeChat pay is a cashless payment solution seamlessly integrated within the social and messaging application of Tencent.

We understand that WeChat is very popular among China tourists. Should you be interested to offer WeChat Pay as one of your payment modes, Chinatown Business Association will look into working with their official Singapore Vendor to obtain a package offer for all tenants.

Chinatown Heritage Playstreet

Join us on this fun filled event where Pagoda Street converts into a giant playground. Play Streets program not only help our kids develop more active habits, they also bring communities together in a safe, fun space. The Chinatown Heritage Playstreet takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

1. Career Support Programme for Employers
Employers stand to receive up to $42,000 salary support when hiring eligible Singapore citizens for your workforce.
This programme is targeted at helping PMETs (from all ages) Singapore Citizen to find employment with potential employers.

2. Career Trial
Career trial is a programme targeted at helping Jobseekers gain experience through short term work trial.
Anyone above the age of 16 can qualify for this programme. Interested applicants will become trainees, who will receive a training allowance from WSG as you train them on the job. At the end of the trial period, the employer may convert the trainee to full-time employment with the company. This is a WSG programme targeted at bridging new employer and employee relationships.
