Chinatown Official Light Up and Opening Ceremony marks the opening of the Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebrations 2020 as we usher in the Year of the Rat. Expect a well curated programme with entertaining performances by both local and overseas leading performing troupes, together with spectacular firecrackers and fireworks display.

Chinese New Year Countdown Party
Usher in the Year of the Rat with live performances and a rousing countdown celebration. Be entertained by a medley of festive songs, skits to interactive games as the countdown party culminates with firecrackers and fireworks display.

COSEM Fire Safety Training
On 10th and 11th December 2019, Chinatown Business Association conducted a Fire Safety Training Course for all Chinatown Street stall and shopfront tenants, to ensure that we are well equipped with essential skills and knowledge needed in case of an emergency.
A morning session and an afternoon session was conducted at Kreta Ayer CC. The fire safety training went well. We hope that with close collaboration, Chinatown Street Market will flourish, and is well prepared in the event of an emergency.
We would like to thank all the tenants for their cooperation and participation in the course.
